Things to do in Houston today, and this weekend, with kids! February 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 2017

Take a big breath and enjoy the new week, without all the crowds, in Houston!

Go see How I Became a Pirate or Mockingbird at Main Street Theater, E.T. Film with Live Orchestra at Jones Hall and Stomp at Jones Hall!  (For Stomp, check affiliate Goldstar for discounted tickets.)

You can also attend Homestead Heritage Day at Jesse H. Jones Nature Center.  This is a “living history” look at 19th
century Texas settler life. There will be blacksmithing, black powder weaponry, open fire cooking, and more.

Little kids can also be Little Artists at Museum of Fine Arts Houston.  There is a storybook circle, multi-sensory play, a tour of the galleries and an art project in the studio.
