  1. This is a great and well thought out list of places to visit in Houston! Old Town Spring has been a classic go-to spot for several decades and still remains a great place that you can bring friends and family to. You can walk shop to shop, cool off and grab a bite to eat. If anyone is reading this and you’re thinking that you’ll never get around to visiting these places, try setting some alerts and reminders in your phone on all the FREE dates listed above! That’s what I’m doing right now. You can bet that I’ll wake up one morning, see FREE and actually go! Places like “Discovery Green” don’t have free parking BUT YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!

  2. This list has been a lifesaver for us while evacuated from Hurricane Isaac in Houston. We loved the Japanese Garden in particular!
