“I Love School” Lunch Boxes

I’m still making fun lunches for my son. The deal is this, I make him a cool lunch, he forgets to say “I hate school” in the morning. This week I stopped by the school for a meeting, before classes were over. He saw me and said, “But Mom, I’m not ready to go home!”. I take this to mean, “I love school!”.  It definitely did not sound like, “Moooooooom, I haaaaate schooooool”.  Thanks goodness.  Thaaaaaat whiiiiiining maaaaakes meeee craaaaazy.

Our first lunch was a spinach and cheese sandwich, at his request, with a cheese train. I added a graham cracker railroad crossing. There was nothing left after school, so I think he liked it.

For the next lunch, he wanted to help. We decided to make “letter blocks” like what we have in the playroom. We made peanut butter crackers and Joe spelled his name on top with food markers. Brooke swiped a few “blocks” in the process. This lunch was 2 year old and 4 year old approved.

Want to see some really neat lunches?  Go HERE.  By the time James is in school, I *might* be able to make one. 🙂
