1. On Monday and Friday, take a Journey Through China VI at Miller Outdoor Theatre .

2.  On Tuesday, print your coupon for BOGO Free Admission for the Downtown Aquarium.

3.  On Wednesday, attend the Kids: Handmade Men’s Salve and Aftershave Workshop at Smith Library (RSVP for a Free Spot).

4.  On Thursday and Friday, watch a Movie at Miller!  (The Force Awakens and Jurassic World!)

5.  On Friday… and every day for a week, watch the Astros at Minute Maid Stadium.

6.  On Friday, celebrate the 4th of July with Red, White & Zoo at the Houston Zoo.

  • Friday, July 1: Red, White & Zoo – 5:00-8:00pm – Houston Zoo – Make your own flag, march in a parade with Uncle Sam, and explore the Zoo looking for a few red, white, and blue animals.
  • Friday-Monday, July 1-4: Astros at Home – Minute Maid Stadium 
  • Monday, July 4: Kidpendence Day – 10:00-6:00pm – Children’s Museum – Follow the exciting High Steppers Brass Band as they march through Kidtropolis, USA and participate in activities all day!
  • Monday, July 4: Sugar Land Skeeters vs New Britains Bees – Time TBD – Constellation Field – Watch a game… and fireworks in Sugar Land!
  • Monday, July 4: Freedom Over Texas – 4:00-10:00pm – Eleanor Tinsley Park – See the fireworks, watch Darius Rucker perform and play at the All-American Kids Zone, a children’s entertainment area with a stage featuring entertainment!
  • Monday, July 4: Exxon Mobil Summer Symphony Nights: A Star-Spangled Salute – 8:30pm – Miller Outdoor Theatre – Listen to the Star-Spangled Salute… and watch the fireworks!

Enjoy free museum entry in the museum district on Thursday, including Summer Art Explorers at the Museum of Fine Arts.

On Friday and Saturday, enjoy Summer Symphony Nights at Miller Outdoor Theatre.  Then, on Saturday at Discovery Green, attend Young Writers WorkshopLearn a LanguageSTEM Saturdays and the giant FUNomenal Family Festival!  FUNomenal was rained out in April and is back again this weekend.  This free event includes games, competitions, rides, foam parties and more!

On Monday, take a Journey Through China VI at Miller Outdoor Theatre.  On Tuesday, take advantage of BOGO Free Admission at the Downtown Aquarium.  Also on Tuesday, join us for another Summer Party at Gallery Furniture!  There will be crafts, playing, lunch and more… you just need to reserve a spot HERE!
