Happy Mother’s Day!

This weekend you can celebrate mom with brunch at Hungry’s Cafe or with breakfast and a boat ride at Hermann Park!  You can also wander through the gardens at Mother’s Day Weekend at Bayou Bend!

Enjoy Mulan, on the lawn, at Discovery Green or the amazing Houston Symphony’s performance of Dreams Can Come True at Jones Hall.

If you are looking for more, stop by AsiaFest 2016 at the Asia Society of Texas for performances, fusion cuisine, creative activities and local vendors!

On Tuesday, take the preschoolers to meet The Little Mermaid  at Discovery Green! Toddler Tuesday is free and does not require registration.  If you want to win VIP access, go HERE!

Then, on Wednesday, join me for the end-of-school-year party at Gallery Furniture on Grand Parkway!  Those that attend will get to see the monkeys and exotic birds, make crafts, jump on mattresses and eat as much dinner and ice cream as their parents allow!  And it’s all FREE to those that reserve a spot!

Plan on a great week and weekend, with kids, in Houston!

On Saturday, head to The Museum Experience Zone 2 and be sure to stop by the Craft Museum.   Here you will find all-day craft demonstrations by local artist guilds, current exhibitions, and hands-on activities.

Not too far away, go to Harriet the Spy at Main Street Theatre and to East Meets West XIV at Miller Outdoor Theatre.
