Go to the Lone Star Flight Museum for a whole series of events.  Watch Planes in the hanger, see the World Series Trophy on Display and view the star at Astronomy Night!

Or take the kids to Pinkalicious The Musical at Main Street Theater at MATCH.  It’s a great show… and it’s air conditioned!

Top 10 Things to Do this Week & Weekend, in Houston, with Kids – July 16-22, 2018

Make plans for another great week in Houston, with kids!  Here are the top things to do for Monday through Sunday, July  16-22, 2018.

1.  All week long, Stay Cool with FREE Houston Splashpads, Pools & Air Conditioned Venues.

2.  Monday through Thursday, cheer for the Skeeters at Constellation Field.

3.  On Tuesday, bring your coupon to Two for Tuesday at the Downtown Aquarium.  Get buy one get one free admission to the aquarium, the stingray tank and all the rides.  (Our favorite is the train that goes through the shark tank!)

4.  On Wednesday, head to the Itty Bitty Beach Party at Pirates Bay Baytown.  Early in the morning, only some of the attractions are open… but families with young kids can get discounted admission.

5.  Wednesday through Friday, enjoy the Express Theatre’s Hilltop Festival for Children at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

6.  On Thursday, enjoy the Free Museum Day in the museum district.  This includes Summer Art Explorers: Look, Discover, Create! at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston!

Fly in for Storytime at the Lone Star Flight Museum… and then tour the museum afterwards.  (You get a big discount of $5/family of 4 if you are in by the start of storytime.)

Cheer for the Harlem Globetrotters at Berry Center in Cypress.  (Check affiliate Groupon for discounts, while they last!)  Or cheer for the Astros at Minute Maid Park or Skeeters at Constellation Field!

Top 12 Things to Do this Week & Weekend, in Houston, with Kids – July 9-15, 2018

1.  All week long, Stay Cool with FREE Houston Splashpads, Pools & Air Conditioned Venues.

2.  All week long, cheer for the Astros at Minute Maid Park.

8.  On Friday, Fly in for Storytime at the Lone Star Flight Museum.  Admission is $5 per family of 4 and you can tour the museum afterwards… as long as you are there for the start of storytime.

9.  Friday through Sunday, cheer for the Skeeters.  Watch baseball, play at the playground, splash and splashpad and have a great time at Constellation Field!

10.  On Saturday, go to Free Play Day at the Houston Fire Museum.  Kids get free admission and there is a great play area with fireman suits, fire truck and fireman pole.

11.  On Saturday and Sunday, go see Pinkalicious The Musical by Main Street Theater at MATCH.  This professional show is meant for families… so a little wiggling and giggling is perfectly fine!

Take the family to Nature Night: Freaky Frogs at the Nature Discovery Center. Learn about frogs of the Houston area, their lives and habits.
