The last Cool Night at the Houston Zoo is this week. Check out Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks and participate in the LEGOlympics. Build, create and race while playing LEGO-themed games and activities.

It’s also the last Zoovie Night of the summer… featuring Batman Lego Movie! And over at Discovery Green is Screen on the Green: Finding Dory.

This weekend, you can also enjoy the Tiny Kids Concert: Houston’s Accordion Squeezy Squad at the Rec Room.

Plan a great week in Houston, with kids!

Cool off with Cool Nights: Jungle Jammin’ at Houston Zoo or break a sweat with Free Rugby Training Day in Katy.

Don’t miss the annual party for George Hermann’s Birthday at the Hermann Park Kinder Station.  In honor of his 174th birthday, children 12 and under can ride the Hermann Park Railroad for just $1.74. Kids activities include carnival games, arts and crafts, and complimentary face painting. Stop by Pinewood Cafe from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to enjoy a free slice of birthday cake, while supplies last. Stop by for lunch and enjoy $1.74 hot dogs, corn dogs, popcorn, and vanilla soft serve cups.

Next week you can also learn about Texas Snakes at Nature Discovery Center or catch a Movie at Miller Miller Outdoor Theatre (including Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone).
