Enjoy the Gingerbread Build Off at Hermann Square by City Hall.  Teams will create their masterpieces using 100% edible materials. Watch the teams works, play in the kids’ construction zone and see Santa!

Go to Discovery Green to watch Home Alone from the ICE or the hill.  Or Skate with Santa on Saturday and skate for cheap at Cheap Skate on Monday.  (And while you are there, checkout Hello, Trees! and all the things to do by the park!)

The awesome, and free, Christmas Train Display is open at Second Baptist Woodway and there is a storytime on Wednesday.

For a train you can ride, head to the Kinder Station Holiday Party at Hermann Park.  The event includes free arts and crafts projects, complimentary face painting and regularly priced train rides (or free rides for Hermann Park Members).

Light up the night with Magical Winter Lights at Gulf Greyhound Park, Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo and Lighting of the Doves at Town Green Park at The Woodlands Waterway.

Make it feel like winter at Frostival at Discovery Green.  This is the opening of the ICE at Discovery Green and the debut of the winter art installation, Hello Trees.  Enjoy a live musical performance, live ICE battles, interactive ice sculptures and more!
