Things to do in Houston today, and this weekend, with kids! June 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 2017

It’s going to be another great week in Houston for families!

A new circus will be in town!  At CIRCUS 1903 – The Golden Age of Circus, sensational puppetry puts elephants back in the ring and there is a huge cast of the most unique, amazing and dangerous circus acts from all four corners of the world, from strong men to contortionists, acrobats to musicians, high wire and much more.  This show is family friendly and is meant for all ages and I have a 50% off discount code!

Also this week the USS Gabrielle Giffords is at Pier 21 in Galveston.  This Navy ship will be commissioned June 10 in Galveston and will be at the pier all week.  (I heard there would be tours for the public during the week, 1:00pm-3:00pm, but I went down to Pier 21 and the Navy guards say they will be Friday 1:00pm-3:00pm and after the commissioning on Saturday!)

Closer to home you can head to Levy Park for MET Dance for Kids or to Read with Pawsitive Pups with Houston Public Library!
