Celebrate Halloween with Tricks, Treats & T-Rex at the Houston Museum of Natural Science Sugar Land, with Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo (and go on Friday if you want to beat some of the crowds), with ArBOOretum! at the Houston Arboretum (and consider getting this affiliate Groupon because members get in free!) and with our favorite Pumpkin Patch at the Nature Discovery Center.

Celebrate Fall with the return of Splendid China at Miller Outdoor Theatre and Wings Over Houston at Ellington Airport.  (Be sure to bring some affiliate ear protection to the air show, for the kids.)

Next week, take the little ones to Toddler Tuesday: We are the Dinosaurs at Discovery Green. The free weekly event includes a storytime and activity. Bring a gently used book and swap for a new one!

Zoo Boo opens this weekend at the Houston Zoo!  If you can swing it, go on Friday to beat some of the crowds.  You can also catch the Halloween Zoovie Night after dark.

Or enjoy some sophisticated Halloween fun with the free Symphonic Spooktacular at the Miller Outdoor Theatre.

Walk on the Wild Side at the Nature Discovery Center or watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at Discovery Green.

Head to the Bayou Bend & Rienzi Family Day at the Museum of Fine Art’s Bayou Bend Collection and Rienzi.  This free event includes art workshops, games and performances.

Next week, take the little ones to Toddler Tuesday: Tacky the Penguin at Discovery Green. The free weekly event includes a storytime and activity.  Bring a gently used book and swap for a new one!

Make this a great fall week and weekend, in Houston, with kids!  Find all the farms, pumpkin patches and fall festivals HERE!

Go to KBR Kids Day on Buffalo Bayou at Guadalupe Plaza Park.  Activity stations will include hands-on activities, Dia de los Muertos face painters, balloon artists, a rock climbing wall, Sports Zone and more! Wear a costume for the parade!

Be sure to also make plans to attend the Houston Dynamo & Dash Family FUN Soccer Day at JC Sports Houston.  Families can play soccer with Dynamo and Dash players, meet the mascot AND raise money for the Humble Oil Patch Golf Center.  (100% of the proceeds will go to the family that had their business and home flooded in Harvey.)

Head to the farm to kick off the fall season!  Blessington Farms is opening up their Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festivities this weekend!

Or go to Discovery Green for Circo Avenida and then to watch Hidden Figures on the lawn.  Or go to the Houston Maritime Museum for the Family Day: Celebrating Houston.
