Things to do in Houston today, and this weekend, with kids! November 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 2017

Things to do in Houston, with kids, this weekend!  This weekly events list is brought to you by our sponsor, Ronald McDonald House Houston’s Trafigura Run for the House.

Head downtown for the Via Color Street Painting Festival on the streets surrounding City Hall.  Two hundred artists will converge on the streets, by City Hall, to celebrate the artistic spirit of Houston and to benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech, a local non-profit that serves children with hearing loss.

Go to the Bayou Bend Family Day for the Thanksgiving themed event.  This month the free family day travels to Emancipation Park for an afternoon of performances, activities, games, and demonstrations. Celebrate the autumn season, history, and Houston civic pride!

Light up the night with Magical Winter Lights at Gulf Greyhound Park, Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo and Lighting of the Doves at Town Green Park at The Woodlands Waterway.

Make it feel like winter at Frostival at Discovery Green.  This is the opening of the ICE at Discovery Green and the debut of the winter art installation, Hello Trees.  Enjoy a live musical performance, live ICE battles, interactive ice sculptures and more!
