Top 8 Things to Do this Week & Weekend, in Houston, with Kids – October 2-8, 2017

Make plans for another great week in Houston, with kids!  Here are the top things to do for Monday through Sunday, October 2-8, 2017.

1.  Monday through Wednesday, go see Hansel and Gretel at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

2.  On Tuesday, go to Toddler Tuesday: Farmyard Beat at Discovery Green. The free weekly event includes a storytime and activity.  Bring a gently used book and swap for a new one!

3.  On Thursday, enjoy Free Museum Entry in the museum district!  With school back in session, the crowds might just be better!

4.  Friday through Sunday, go play at Blessington Farms… the Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festivities are open!

5.  On Saturday, go to KBR Kids Day on Buffalo Bayou at Guadalupe Plaza Park.  Activity stations will include hands-on activities, Dia de los Muertos face painters, balloon artists, a rock climbing wall, Sports Zone and more! Wear a costume for the parade!

6.  On Saturday, go see Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Main Street Theater at MATCH.

7.  On Sunday, attend the Houston Dynamo & Dash Family FUN Soccer Day at JC Sports Houston.  Families can play soccer with Dynamo and Dash players, meet the mascot AND raise money for the Humble Oil Patch Golf Center.  (100% of the proceeds will go to the family that had their business and home flooded in Harvey.)

8.  All week long, find all the farms, pumpkin patches and fall festivals HERE!
