This is the weekly post of top things to do in Houston, with kids… but you know all about Hurricane Harvey!    I’m still sharing the things to do… for whenever we dry off and clean up… but click the links for the latest updates and stay safe!

Here are the top things to do for Monday through MONDAY, August 28-September 4, 2017!  (Find the full list of events HERE!)

1. All week, check for Harvey updates, school closing and flooding issues HERE.

2.  On Tuesday, if it’s open, take advantage of the last Two for Tuesday at the Downtown Aquarium.  Bring the coupon  for buy one get one free admission to the aquarium and the rides (including the train that goes under the shark tank).

3.  On Tuesday through Sunday, if the games are on, go cheer for the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park!

4.  On Tuesday through Monday, if the games are on, go cheer for the Sugar Land Skeeters.

5.  On Thursday, head to the museum district for Free Museum Entry.  The big kids should be back in school… so crowds might be smaller than we saw in the summer.

6.  On Saturday through Monday, go to the Lone Star Flight Museum Grand Opening!  It has moved to Ellington Field.  There is free admission for kids 11 and under, this weekend only.

7.  On Saturday, if it’s on, take your young writers to the Young Writers Workshop at Discovery Green.

8.  On Sunday, if it’s on, go cheer for the Houston Dash at BBVA Compass Stadium.
