Things to do in Houston today, and this weekend, with kids! January 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, February 1, 2017

Super Bowl LI George R Brown from Discovery Green Houston
It’s Super Bowl time in Houston!

Before the big game, kids can participate in the NFL Experience at George R Brown, at Super Bowl Live in Discovery Green,  attend Super Bowl Opening Night at Minute Maid Park… and even to take photos with the Budweiser Clydesdales!  (The horses are at Anheuser-Busch starting Monday and are free to see!)

You can also attend Creation Station: Lunar New Year at the Asia Society of Texas, see the Lion Dancers at the Children’s Museum of Houston or attend the Lunar New Year Festival at the Chinese Community Center.  Or go to Family Day: A Whaling and Scrimshaw Adventure at the Houston Maritime Museum and learn about whaling and scrimshaw.
