Things to do in Houston today, this weekend, with kids! April 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 2014

Splashpad at Discovery Green
Another week, another long list of things to do in Houston with kids!

It’s the first week of April, so it’s time for another Hands-On Houston at the Craft Museum.  This month you can make a free charm or bracelet.  Just stop by between 11:00 and 3:00!

BubbleFest is also on Saturday at Hogg Middle School Spark Park.  There will be  games, food, drinks, photos, and 2 giant bubble pits!  Bring a towel and some dry clothes to this event!

On Sunday, the first of three Sunday Streets will kick off in the Heights.  White Oak from Heights to Fulton will be closed to cars and open to pedestrians and bikes!  It’s an opportunity for families and neighbors to be outside and celebrate the streets of Houston!

You can also enjoy the outdoors at Discovery Green.  They have brought back the kayaks and you can ride on Saturday and Sunday for $5 per person.  Also, it looks like the weekly Young Writers Workshop has a new name.  Dia at Discovery with WITS  is on Saturday morning in the Discovery Green library.

Also at Discovery Green is the Toddler Tuesday Egg Hunt on April 8!  There will be 20,000 prizes for the kids to find!  Bring out your preschoolers and be sure to stop by the BigKidSmallCity booth!

Look below for the full list of things to do.  Go HERE to get this list delivered to your inbox each week!
