Here we are Houston:  Right in the middle of festival and egg hunting season!

Head to Hermann Park this weekend for the Japan Festival and, for park members, free unlimited train rides!  Family memberships are $50 per year and support a great park and have many perks, including free train rides!

Take part in a leisurely egg hunt at Blessington Farms.  Children hunt for 10 eggs and then redeem them for prizes.  Or take part in an Easter Orange Hunt at the Orange Show.  Yes, Easter ORANGE Hunt.  Kids can search for candy-filled eggs, oranges and other fun prizes!

Discovery Green is hosting Earth Day Houston and also has kayaks ready for you to ride.  On Tuesday, preschoolers (30″ and taller) will get to ride a real monster truck!  Take your little ones to Toddler Tuesday and be sure to stop by the BigKidSmallCity tent!
