I do like to explore with my kids. But there are things I like to do without them:
- Sleep. I prefer to not get donkey kicked all night long. And especially not by 3 kids at once.
- Shop. My kids *might* behave for the entire visit to Target. Maybe.
- Get a pedicure. Holding Baby James during a pedicure is like holding a time bomb. You just don’t know when it will go off.
- Call into Conference Calls. The moment I unmute is the moment disaster strikes.
But I think you want to know what I like to do in Houston without kids. The truth is, if I’m not working or hanging out with my kids, I really like to sleep. But if you can get me about 7 hours of sleep, my work done and a really great babysitter, can you please take me to the show in the theater district, to dinner in the Market Square district and to the Okra Charity Saloon? I think that would be a great thing to do without kids.
