Things to do in Houston today and this weekend, with kids! November 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 2013

Houston MuralI love the buzz around Houston.  There is always something to do!  Here are the family friendly events for November 14 to 20.

On Thursday, play Blanket Bingo at Market Square Park.  Stop back on Saturday for the day long Bike Fest!

Visit Russia at by heading to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for World Trekkers on Friday.

I am very excited for the Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Main Street Theater on Saturday!  Also on the same evening, drop the kids off at the theater for a parents night out!

If your kids are football fans, go meet local Pro Bowl Star Wade Smith at Fundamentally Toys.  Just be sure to RSVP.

Don’t miss that opening of the new Quillian Center Playground.  There will face painting, balloon characters, inflatables and a new playground!

Also on Saturday, get into nature and meet some Reptiles at Nature Discovery Center!  If you can’t make this, check out the kids classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

On Sunday, don’t miss the Bayou Bend & Rienzi Family Day.  Park at either house museum and take the shuttle between the them.  Also, at the main museum on Binz you can participate in the Family Zone.
