Houston MuralHere we go again with a week of Houston events!  Look below for family friendly events from Thursday, September 5th to Wednesday, September 11!

After visiting the free museums on Thursday, head to Mid Main (Main Street at the Ensemble METRORail Station) and Eat, Shop and Rock for a good cause.  Proceeds from the shops and restaurants on this block will go to The Ensemble Theatre!

On Friday and Saturday mornings, grab your shovel and head to the Garden Center at Hermann Park.  The Garden Center is being renovated so plants are being sold for $2.  You just need to dig them up and transport them home!

On Saturday, make a free craft at Hands-On Houston.  Stop by the family festival for handweaving, papermaking and wet felting.

On Saturday there is also buy one get one free admission to the Downtown Aquarium.  Just print the coupon and head over any time.

On Sunday, experience the Splendors of East Asia at the Asia Society Fall Open House.  Activities include Korean Taegeuk Fans, Japanese Koinobori Kites, Korean Hangul Writing and Korean Jegi Creation.
