Things to do in Houston today and this weekend, with kids! July 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 2013

Houston is gearing up for the 4th of July!  To celebrate, go to the Star Spangled Salute or buy a ticket to Freedom Over Texas.  You can also celebrate at Kidpendence Day at the Children’s Museum and the Celebration at Bayou Bend.  Also, check out the Kids Parade in Bellaire where kids are encouraged to decorate trikes, bikes and wagons.  Just show up and ride in the parade!

On Saturday, do not miss the Kids Storytime at Brazos Bookstore where Kathy Duval, author of Take Me to Your BBQ, will be reading her book!  Also, do not miss Alice in Wonderland at Main Street Theater.  It lasts through the end of July and you do not want to miss it!
