Things to do in Houston this Memorial Day weekend, with kids! May 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 2013

It is Memorial Day Weekend!  If you start the weekend early, be sure to visit the Houston Museum District.  Thursday is free admission day with 5 museums waiving the admission fee.

If you like movies and concerts, you are in luck because you can find them at Market Square Park, Miller Outdoor Theatre, Discovery Green and Whole Foods Montrose.  And if you have not seen Charlotte’s Web yet, you need to go because this Saturday is your last chance at Main Street Theater.  It’s also the last weekend for The Days & Knights of King Arthur at InterActive Theater.

If you are looking to get outdoors, go Kayaking on Kinder Lake, do Yoga at Hermann Park or visit the chimpanzees at the Houston Zoo.  Also, Blessington Farms is opening up on Monday for Memorial Day.  Go strawberry picking and visit the Farm Funland.

Be sure to also check out this list of free Houston activities for any day of the week!
