It’s Martin Luther King weekend and HISD is off on Monday.  What should we do with the kids?

January 19 – Super Saturday, Buy One Get One Free Admission – Downtown Aquarium 
January 19 – MLK Parades – 10:00am – Midtown & Downtown
January 19 – Young Writers Workshop – 10:30-11:00am – Discovery Green
January 19 – Discovery Green Flea – 11:00-5:00pm – Discovery Green
January 19 – Hula Hooping – Part of Sweat and Snack – 12:00-12:45pm – Whole Foods Kirby
January 19 – Family Owl Prowl – 6:30-9:00pm – Houston Arboretum

January 20 – Bayou Bend Family Day – 1:00-5:00pm – Bayou Bend Collection (MFAH)

January 21 – MLK Parades – 10:00am – Midtown & Downtown
January 21 – Free Entrance to National Parks

If you head downtown, check out Roma’s Pizza at 233 Main Street.  This local restaurant is having it’s grand opening this week.  Through Friday, a slice of cheese pizza is just $1.25.  Roma’s is open Monday through Saturday.

While you are close by, be sure to Burp the Bayou!  It’s our new favorite thing to do in Houston.
